The Effect of H1N1 in tourism

Dear All,

Our task for this week is: 'The Effect of H1N1 in tourism'.

You would probably want to tell:

i) Your opinion, whether H1N1 does affect our tourism industry? Be it positive or negative, or maybe it does not give any effect at all.

ii) Please include a brief description on what is the best way to prevent H1N1 from spreading and how avoid catching them while travelling.

My Experience of Learning English

I do not come from a rich family, in fact I do not come from an English background family. However, my parents are both teachers, and I can see that they celebrate education, learning and thinking! How lucky I am! My dad teaches English, and he is still teaching now. He is very passionate about teaching English, he comes home everyday with a bulk of students' exercises and always asks me about the perfect activity that should be done in his classrooms. I sometimes help him with the task, because I find teaching primary schools should be fun! I have this probably because I find learning English is fun. Can you imagine how wonderful are my experiences in learning English?

My English teachers were all amazing! I cannot find a way to despise them, let alone their teaching. Therefore, I still could not understand on why students nowadays do not seem to mind talking bad things about their teachers, because I love all my English teachers, even after being a teacher myself. I learn a lot from schools and TV. Yes, TV! I watched English shows, from Mr. Brown to Oprah, from Tom and Jerry to Oggy and the cockroaches!

I love all my teachers, but I love this one teacher best, let us call her Miss M. She was very passionate about teaching, always early to class, and yet she never hated you for speaking broken English. "It's just a way of learning English through mistakes," was what she said. Wasn't she wonderful?
I love reading English books too, but mainly facts and sci-fi, no novels. That is where I learn and improve my grammar skills. I love imitating the native speakers and other languages which I find interesting on the TV. My friends suggest that I should be an impersonator instead. But, will I enjoy that career as much as I enjoy teaching now? Who knows, it would be probably worth trying ;)

My Experience of Learning English

Salam and Dear All,

Our task for this week is to write a short essay on "My Experience of Learning English". You can write in your experiences of learning English since you were in schools. You may describe your family background too, do they motivate you to learn English? Or do they encourage you to learn one? It can be anything, let your mind does the thinking, and your hands do the typing.

Ok, enjoy!

Regards,
